Your Future Nursing Career Starts Here: Reserve Your WNC Testing Date

Prospective nursing students must complete the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) by April 1, 2026, to be considered for admission to the program for fall 2026.
Aspiring nurses, start smart and local by taking the next step toward careers in nursing by testing into the program at 草莓社区 early this year.
Remaining dates for the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) for WNC鈥檚 Nursing program applicants have been announced for the 2026 Spring Semester. 草莓社区 can choose from the following dates to take the required entrance exam:
- Friday, Feb. 13, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Friday, Feb. 27, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 4, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Friday, March 6, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Testing check-in for students begins at 8:45 a.m. in the Cedar Building Room 320C on WNC鈥檚 Carson City campus.
鈥淭he TEAS exam is an important milestone for students pursuing nursing, and we encourage applicants to take advantage of these early testing dates,鈥 said WNC Nursing and Allied Health Director Dr. Audrey Auer. 鈥淧lanning ahead allows students to stay on track for Fall 2026 admission while ensuring they are well prepared for the academic rigor of our program. Our goal is to support aspiring nurses every step of the way as they begin this rewarding career.鈥
To register for the TEAS test, students must first create an account with ATI testing at https://www.atitesting.com. Once their account has been set up, they need to select the in鈥憄erson testing option proctored by an institution and choose Western Nevada College as their school.
Available testing dates will then appear, and the student can select their desired date.
草莓社区 must complete the entrance exam no later than April 1, 2026, to be considered for admissions into the Fall 2026 Nursing program.
