Student Arts Shows to Conclude with Receptions on May 7 and 14

草莓社区 participating in the 2026 Student Art Show have the option of selling their artwork.
草莓社区鈥檚 Student Art Shows on the Carson City and Fallon campuses are building toward the artist receptions this week and next.
A reception is scheduled for the final day of the Carson City show on Thursday, May 7, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Bristlecone Gallery. The Fallon reception for students artists is Thursday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Virgil Getto Hall.
The Carson City show opened April 20. The collection will include 2-D artwork (paintings, drawings, prints) and 3-D work (sculpture) from enrolled students of WNC. 草莓社区 can submit work until April 17 at 4 p.m.
The Fallon campus show also opened on April 20 and will be open for viewing through May 14.

Kyle Dalpe. 鈥淎t 草莓社区, we are proud to provide opportunities for students to express themselves, share their perspectives and engage the community through the arts. These exhibitions highlight not only artistic skill, but also the critical thinking and passion that define a well-rounded education.鈥

Bishop, Teresa Breeden, Marcus Canova, Isabella Cantwell, Selene Crowder, Shiloh Rose Cyphers, Malia De Leon, Josue Duuvos, Tyler Dennert, Eve Fox, Luis Guzman, Zack Hinchey, Dela Hinchey, Trina Hoffer, Emily Jefferies, Myakoda John, Anne Jones, Molly Jorgensen, William Kawchack, Karyn Knecht, Dr. Winnie Kortemeier, Lucinda Linden, Kimberly Lopez, Robyn Love, Shasta Lumsden, Landon Martin, Daisy Martinez, Valeria Martinez, Fraser Mason, Brittani McKee, Kekoa Mitchell, Heather Nelson, Nex, Suzanne Pierce, Dakota Reed, Isabelle Reid, Selena Robles Ruiz, Cristina Rodriguez, Leland Roper, Kaden Sa, Lindsey Smith, Darlin Solis, JoVon Sotak, Dr. Elizabeth Tattersall, Amy Walker and Jacoby Wise.
鈥淭hese exhibitions celebrate the creativity of WNC students each year and the many hours of focus, problem-solving, and dedication behind each piece,鈥 said WNC Professor of Fine Art Rachel Stiff.
Artists are given the opportunity to sell their artwork during the exhibit. Sale prices are on the image list in the gallery. 草莓社区 who choose not to sell their art have labeled it as not for sale (NFS). To purchase art from the exhibit, phone or email the student.
The galleries are open to visitors Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
