草莓社区 is proud of the accomplishments of our graduates and will hold two ceremonies to celebrate their achievements.  Congratulations to the class of 2026!

Dates and Locations for 2026 Ceremonies

Monday, May 18th, 2026, 10 a.m. 
Marv Teixeira Pavilion, Mills Park, 1111 E. William St

Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, 10 a.m. 
3C Event Complex, 227 Sheckler Rd
Fallon, NV

Doors for both ceremonies will open at 9 a.m.  Graduates should arrive dressed in cap and gown and proceed to the check-in tables to pick up your name card.  Guests can proceed to the designated seating areas.

Clear Bag Policy

Please note that both the Carson City and Fallon WNC commencement ceremonies will follow the WNC clear bag policy.  For the safety of all attendees, guests are encouraged to bring only essential items into the venue and comply with the clear bag requirements.  The University Police Department and event staff will be present to support a safe and orderly event.  Please see our clear bag policy at the link below.

Prohibited Items

Including, but not limited to:
  • Weapons (including those carried with a permit)
  • Coolers and containers
  • Large signs, banners, flags or balloons
  • Packages (e.g., gifts, boxes)
  • Large umbrellas
  • Tobacco and e-cigarettes
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Fireworks or Noisemakers
  • Drones
  • Dogs/Pets are not allowed, except for official ADA recommended service animals*.
    * Service animals are dogs trained to perform specific tasks related to a person's disability.  They must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, and under control.  Per NRS 651.075, a person may be requested to remove a service animal if the animal:
    1) Is out of control and the person accompanying the animal fails to take effective action to control it; or
    2)鈥侾oses a direct threat to the health or safety of others.
    Emotional support, therapy, or comfort animals are not considered service animals under the ADA, and are prohibited from this event.

Graduating with Honors for Commencement

For spring commencement, honors that are announced at the ceremony and printed in the commencement program are calculated based on total units and classes completed at WNC prior to the applicable spring semester, including winter session classes. Spring semester classes that start after winter session are not included for honors announcements at commencement. Final honors are calculated after the conclusion of spring semester and commencement and posted on graduates' transcripts.

Honors medals on neck ribbons will be provided to Honors eligible graduates as they check in at commencement.
